FORMER Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro’s lawyers had no sooner let it be known that she was suing the club for constructive dismissal before she was spotted among footballers at an awards evening…
Mail Online posted these shots from a Sky Sports report after Carneiro was spotted on parade at the Best of Africa Awards in central London. She was there alongside players such as England women’s star Eniola Aluko and former Arsenal, Birmingham and Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba.
Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant was also there to pick up an award, while Yaya and Kolo Toure, Yannick Bolasie Louis Saha and Odion Ighalo were honoured at the event.
She seemed in good spirits at the awards night.
Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn treat Eden Hazard – the incident that angered Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in August’s draw with Swansea – and led to her being demoted from first team match-day duties.
After Liverpool increased the pressure on Jose Mourinho by beating his Chelsea side 3-1 at Stamford Bridge, Reds defender Mamadou Sakho tweeted this picture along with the message: “Great victory today.”
Liverpool striker Christian Benteke, 24, came off the bench to score the third goal in that game. He tweeted: “Hard Work Pay Off!!! Thank you to all the fans all your Great support!! YNWA.”
