ALEX Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move from Arsenal to Liverpool was perhaps one of the more surprising summer moves.
Or maybe not! He had clearly fallen out of love with the Emirates and felt the need to move. Where he will fit in at Anfield is anybody’s guess.
He can play in range of positions and will give Jurgen Klopp different options, but he needs a role that is right for him; right for his new club; right for England.
For me, one of the best signings in the summer window is Tottenham’s capture of Fernando Llorente from Swansea.
I can’t believe the Swans let him go for a relatively paltry £15million. Could be one of the bargains of the season. He’s a class act.
All about opinions, of course, and we want to know what you think about the transfers we’ve selected below. They are not quite in the ‘Neymar League’ but some interesting purchases nonetheless.
Who’s the best buy; who’s a waste of money. The choice is all yours.
