I HAVE a lot of respect for Graeme Souness as a former player of great distinction and as a current TV pundit.
But if his comments, and if reported correctly, about Wayne Rooney being a ‘spent force’ are true then I have to challenge his judgement.
That Manchester United-Liverpool rivalry will NEVER go away.
Rooney still has so much to offer – for club and country – so it’s time people get off his case…
