AS always, there are plenty of transfer speculation stories doing the rounds today – we check out what’s hot…and what’s not.

Manchester United are being tipped to rekindle their interest in Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller. Daily Star 5/10

With Zlatan’s future uncertain and Rooney departing Old Trafford, United are still seeking another attacking player – despite the capture of Romelu Lukaku.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is well ahead of schedule in his return to fitness – and is expected to sign a new deal at Manchester United. The Sun 5/10

Not sure about this one. Thought Zlatan’s short time at Old Trafford was up. Stranger things have happened though.

Champions Chelsea may turn their attention to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after failing to lure Lukaku back to the Bridge. Various sources 3/10

Alvaro Morata is Antonio Conte’s preferred choice, but Real Madrid are standing firm. And the suggested £65million for Aubameyang is a bit hefty.

Eric Dier wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur to join Manchester United, and the Old Trafford club are expected to make an improved offer of £50m for the 23-year-old midfielder. The Guardian 2/10

Can’t see it happening. Pochettino will not sell such a key player to a title rival. Plus, Dier has never expressed a desire to leave a club on the up and up.

Lucas Leiva could be on his way to Lazio after he was not offered a new contract at Liverpool. Daily Star 6/10

The 30-year-old is still training with the Reds but started just 12 games last season. Still a valuable squad player Jurgen Klopp can rely on, but he’s become frustrated with a lack of game time.

Monaco and France striker Kylian Mbappe has had a three-hour meeting with Arsene Wenger to discuss a possible move to Arsenal. Daily Express 7/10

A move for the 18-year-old sensation has been on the cards for some time and Arsene wants to get his business done early.
