Following on from our Kyle Walker story earlier, some of the daily papers are trying to convince us that Dele Alli will also be heading north in the summer.
The transfer window doesn’t have to be open for the media to stop speculating – imagine what it will be like in the summer..
Here’s today’s round-up as we rate the daily gossip…
Pep Guardiola is plotting a world-record swoop for Tottenham’s Dele Alli, according to Barcelona legend Xavi. The Sun 0/10
Not a chance he will leave – unless Pochettino goes. And we can’t see that either.
Chelsea are ready to beat Manchester United in a bidding war for £50m-rated Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic. The Sun 5/10
That’s news to us – not sure he’s on United’s radar.
Manchester United are looking to snap up Valencia starlet Carlos Soler in a £25m deal this summer. Daily Star 4/10
Another random call. Jose has bigger fish to fry.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic accepts his Manchester United career is over and is targeting a return to action in Major League Soccer. Daily Mirror 8/10
His United days might be over and Zlatan will not want to go out on a sour note.
Liverpool are in pole position to sign Burnley defender Michael Keane, who is valued at £30m. The Sun 7/10
Keane will definitely leave in the summer but other clubs will be in for him. Shame Liverpool can’t sign him now.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Elland Road revolving door starts spinning again- especially if they miss out on the play-offs.

So they weren’t present to see Kyle Walker then, as suggested by some of the day’s papers?
Bournemouth are willing to pay Chelsea a combined £25m this summer for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and defender Nathan Ake. Daily Mirror 5/10
Chelsea may well sell Begovic but with Terry leaving in the summer there is no way they will sell Ake. He’s already made an impression since his return to the Bridge.
