Since last time I wrote a few things have happened. The first thing is that I have played my first game for East Cowes Vics(formally known as Newport) and we played Cowes, ( a local derby).

We won 3-0 and I managed to get a goal from the spot! My next match for Vics is against my old club West Wight in the cup. I played for West Wight for three years, two of them in the year above, but this one is going to be tense as I don’t know how they will react.

I’ve also been carrying on my training at the Southampton MLT academy, and the last session before we broke up for half term was quality!

Pelle was the coach and we were practicing our finishing and technique in front of goal. I really liked it because he praised everything you did but even when you did something wrong he just laughed and it just showed he loved his sport and you don’t have to be full on to help other people love the sport as well, like me.

In April the MLT is going to the Southampton Academy training ground and they invited me to come along, I am really happy I’m going because we will be able to learn new things with the Southampton coaches but also nervous because I want show how well I can play (especially the scouts).

The Saturday just gone the U13’s and the U14’s for Portsmouth JPL played a match against each other with some U13’s filling in for the 14’s. I played the third quarter for the U14’s letting no-one get through and keeping a clean sheet.

The game finished 3-2 to the under 14s. This weekend I am also playing for Portsmouth JPL in the league. So another busy week ahead.
