PREMIER League lucky charm N’Golo Kante will become only the SECOND player to win the title with two different clubs in successive seasons if Chelsea overpower West Brom tonight.
In doing so he would become the NINTH player to achieve the feat since the outset of the Premier League in 1992 – the THIRD to do it with Chelsea and Leicester!
Robert Huth won the title with the Blues in 2005 and 2006 before lifting the trophy with the Foxes last season.
Whilst Mark Schwarzer is the only player (so far) to win the Premier League (also with the Blues and Foxes) to achieve back-to-back success.
Mind you his achievement will be completely outshone by Kante who has played virtually every game for the last two seasons whereas the Aussie keeper was little more than a bit-part player, but did collect his medals.
Here’s a quick check on the other six double champs – and there are plenty of former Gooners in there….

Nicolas Anelka – Arsenal 1997-98, Chelsea 2009-10
Incredibly, the enigmatic Frenchman’s title successes were 12 years apart as he was fresh-faced and relatively untroubled 19-year-old with Arsenal first time around – and a grumpy 31-year-old when he did it with Chelsea.
