THE Premier League’s last man standing Leicester City have been paired with Atletico Madrid in the last eight of the Champions League.

No easy task, of course, but arguably better than facing the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Real Madrid. If they can overcome Sevilla, they can beat Atletico.

Here’s the quarter final draw in full:

Atletico Madrid v Leicester

Bayern Munich v Real Madrid

Borussia Dortmund v Monaco

Juventus v Barcelona

Thanks to Samuel Marsden for this post.

MEANWHILE, in the Europa League, Manchester United have drawn Belgian side Anderlecht. As with Leicester, another favourable draw. Not easy though, but at least they avoided Besiktas and Ajax.

But United should progress and they are red hot favourites with the bookies to win the tournament and so qualify for next season’s Champions League. Where they belong.
