FRANK Lampard may have upset a few Chelsea fans when he swapped the royal blue for the light blue of Manchester City – via New York – but all seemed to be forgiven yesterday.

The former England international and the West London club’s record scorer was a pundit for the BBC for the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham on Saturday.

And after watching Antonio Conte’s side seal their place in the final, Chelsea legend Lamps found himself surrounded by supporters as he left Wembley Stadium

Lampard, who  was a pundit for the BBC at Wembley as his old team reached the FA Cup final, might have had difficulty finding his way home. But didn’t seem to mind.
Chelsea’s record scorer was in the BBC studio alongside Alan Shearer and Jermaine Jenas. Relative calm before the storm.

Chelsea will play either Arsenal or Manchester City in the final thanks to goals from Willian, Eden Hazard and a stunner from Nemanja Matic.

Doesn’t take a genius to work out where Frank’s loyalties will lie come the glorious day – even if Chelsea face City.
